Life is going rul well and God is so good. I will share wif you when you talk to me in the aforementioned modes.
PLUS that way, we can keep in touch better. Win-win situation here.
I MISS TUBA PPL.
One thought that has been rolling around in my head:
Take a moment to think about ALL the different missions trips going near and far throughout the world this summer, each summer. Think about ALL the community projects churches are doing.... think about ALL the VBS's...
Think about how so many people's lives, the "givers" and "receivers", are blessed and eternally marked by their summer experience.
Now think about how GOD is behind that all. Picture the love of God that BURSTS forth through the world each summer. The overwhelming and immense power of God is unleashed through the Kingdom- a huge wave of love covering our sin, an unstoppable force that blows us away, yet draws us nearer to Christ. It's incredible and incredibly humbling to think that the Creator, the Savior, the Almighty chooses to use such imperfect, lameskang sinners. He uses His children to do His work. He orchestrates each trip, these summer activities, to glorify Himself.... amazing.
To be a tiny part of this force, this love in Summer 2011... leaves me speechless. God is indescribably good.
This should be our motivation. If such great power can be unleashed through us by Christ in summer missions, in community projects, in VBS, how much more can there be if we dedicate year-round?
Goal: to live evangelistically (is that a word??). If we allow ourselves to be wholly dedicated- how much can Christ do through us?
